A glittering light show brightened the surrounding areas of Qiantang River, showing various cultural symbols of Hangzhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province on Friday.
Under the theme of "I love you, China", the light show was held to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Landmarks on the bank of Qiantang River includes the Stadium for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. It is an architecture shaped like a lotus. Under the colorful light, the "lotus" bloomed with great charm.
The light is full of changes to show different typical elements of Hangzhou, including ancient poems that depict Hangzhou's beautiful scenery and prosperous life.
The patterns projected on buildings by light also include artworks like landscapes, calligraphy and seal cutting.
Besides the artworks, the light also show patterns shaped as some common things of Hangzhou people’s daily life, such as folding fan, silk parasols, porcelains and rolling lamps -- a famous cultural heritage of the city.
The light show also demonstrate the urban appearance of Hangzhou with boats in river, park and arch bridges. Besides, the light beams also formed some figures, which connotes that Hangzhou is on the way to be constructed as the pioneer city in digital economy and e-commerce.
