North China City Sees First Snow This Autumn

Bashang Area of Zhangjiakou City in north China's Hebei Province experienced the first snow this autumn in the wee hours of Saturday due to a cold air.

The snow reduced the minimum temperature to minus four degrees Celsius. The maximum precipitation was 4.3 millimeters.

Many of local residents were wearing cotton clothes when walking outside on Saturday.

According to the local meteorological observatory, effect of the cold air will last until Sunday night. The temperature will rise from Monday.
